Less than 6 months after we purchased The Beach Cruiser, Florida was hit by its first hurricane in 11 years. While Hermine made landfall in Florida’s Big Bend area, Anna Maria and the greater Tampa area did receive several inches of rain (some areas up to a foot of rain) and heavy winds. We did not experience any damage.
During the last few days, I have relied on a couple web cams to monitor the weather conditions one Anna Maria. One web cam is focus on the Rod and Reel Pier which is on the bay side of the island.
The other web cam is just due west of The Beach Cruiser on the Gulf side and is managed by the Beach Bistro.
