This may not answer every question you have about this house but it is pretty darn close. If you have additional questions or concerns, reach out to Audie via text/call at 303-564-6932, or through the platform you booked your stay.

What to do in Ventura and beyond.

1 month before arrival: You will receive an email or message (via Airbnb or Vrbo) asking if we can provide you with local recommendations.

2 weeks before arrival: You will receive an email or message (via Airbnb or Vrbo) with some early information about your stay at 1623 San Nicholas. It is also around this time that we request the Traveling Pet Fee if you have a four-legged family member (dog) joining you.

2 days before arrival: You will receive an email or message (via Airbnb or Vrbo) AND a text message with all of your check-in information.

Day after your arrival: You will receive a quick text asking how you are settling in and if you need anything.

Day before your departure: You will receive a quick text with check-out instructions.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out via text, phone, email, or the platform you booked on before or doing your stay.

Check-in is at 4 PM. Check-out is 10 AM. There are times in which we can accommodate an early check-in or late check-out. We ask that you make that request at least four days in advance of your arrival so that we can attempt to coordinate with our cleaners.

Two days before your arrival you will receive an email or message (via Airbnb or Vrbo) AND a text message with all of your check-in information. All three exterior door have digital locks. Your access code will work on three exterior doors.

Address: 1623 San Nicholas Street. Ventura, CA 93001. All major map apps provide good directions to the house.

If you noticed anything damaged upon your arrival please let us know as soon as possible.

We have placed QR Codes around the house that are linked to informative videos on how to operate things like the tv, coffee maker, dish washer, and more. All the videos are posted on YouTube and are accessible here.

Additional information: You will notice an additional network named “Network1623_EXT”. Because the cable modem and wireless router are located in the console near the front door, We have installed a wifi range extender in the laundry room to improve the wifi coverage in the back of the house. Feel free to connect to “Network1623_EXT”, the password is the same as “Network1623”.

The only television in the house is located in the living room above the fire place. There are two remotes, a black remote for the Samsung television and the other is silver for the Apple TV.

We do have cable stations through our provider, Spectrum. Those channels channels can be accessed through the Spectrum app on the Apple TV. That app is in the “Networks” folder on the Apple TV.

Trash (black container) and recycling (blue container) are on the driveway by the garage.

If you happen to be at the house on a Thursday or Friday, we would appreciate it if you took the trash and recycling out to the curb on Thursday evening and bring it in on Friday.

During check-out, please take the kitchen trash and recycling out to the containers on the driveway by the garage.

  • Take the kitchen trash and recycling out to the containers on the driveway by the garage. Black container is trash, blue container is recycling.
  • Load and run the dishwasher. Dishwasher pods are under the kitchen sing.
  • Place used towels in the washer and start a cycle. This will help our cleaners streamline cleaning as towels take longer to dry.
  • Sheets do NOT need to be removed from the beds.
